Christmas Tour by Donation
Experience the traditions of Christmases past through the various generations of the Thompson family and our featured ‘Christmas During World War I’ Exhibit during our Christmas Tours at Ruthven Park ! Tours run on-the-hour for approximately 45 minutes.
Please register for tours at the Welcome Centre. Admission is a “give what you can” monetary donation per person in support of Ruthven Park.

Come out for the 4th Annual Charity Drive! Together, we can make a difference!
It's that time of year again! Please bring new, unwrapped toys to help bring joy to children this year!
This event has become a tradition of giving, and we can't wait to see the incredible impact we'll make together. Whether you have items to donate, spare change to contribute, or a few hours to volunteer, your support matters!
This year they are adding local vendors! Please help support these small businesses by doing some of your Christmas shopping. We look forward to seeing all the goodies!
How can you help? Here are a few ways:
1. **Donate Items**: Clean out your closets and donate gently used clothing, toys, and household items. Every little bit helps!
2. **Give Financially**: Every dollar counts! Your generous donations will go directly towards supporting those in need.
3. **Volunteer Your Time**: Join us on December 15, 12pm to 3pm to lend a hand. Your time is a priceless gift that can make a huge difference!

Ancaster Optimist Club Catch the Ace!
The Ancaster Optimist Club supports children and youth in Ancaster and surrounding communities by funding learning opportunities, sports, charitable donations and a host of other initiatives. The club is operating a Catch the Ace progressive raffle as its newest fundraising project. The progressive jackpot continues to grow! The club needs your support! Please play online at ancastercta.com or visit us on Monday nights from 7-8:30 pm at Marshall Memorial United Church, 20 Gilbert Ave in Ancaster. Adult Shinny Caledonia
This is a drop in program, there is no registration.
Shinny is an opportunity to participate in self-organized, non-contact hockey. Wearing a CSA-approved helmet is mandatory and facemasks are mandatory for anyone under 18 years of age.
- Youth Shinny is open to participants in Grades 4-8
- Teen Shinny is open to participants in Grade 9 to 17 years of age
- Adult / Women's Shinny is open to those 18 and older
