  • Hamilton Trees of Remembrance

    The Trees of Remembrance display is an acknowledgment of a life that has been lived and the memories that they endure. The Trees of Remembrance will be lit nightly.

    The tribute of light to honour those who have passed will take place at:

  • Jarvis Light Up Tour and Path of Giants

    Get ready to embark on a mesmerizing journey of lights and holiday magic with the highly anticipated Jarvis Light Up 2024 Tour of Homes!

    From December 11th until January 1st, immerse yourself in the enchantment of the season as you explore the beautifully illuminated homes in some of the most charming neighborhoods of Jarvis. From Nutcracker Neighbourhood to Rural Rudolph, each area offers a unique and unforgettable experience that will fill your heart with joy and wonder.

    The tour route will wind its way through the picturesque neighborhoods of Jarvis, allowing visitors to marvel at the extraordinary displays of lights that adorn the front yards, rooftops, and facades of homes. As you drive or stroll along the tour path, you’ll be treated to a symphony of twinkling lights and festive decorations, filling your heart with warmth and awe.

    From December 11th to January 1st, join the Jarvis Light Up 2024 Tour of Homes to experience the enchantment of holiday lights, the joy of giving, and the spirit of community. Let’s celebrate the season in all its splendor.

  • Christmas Tour by Donation

    Experience the traditions of Christmases past through the various generations of the Thompson family and our featured ‘Christmas During World War I’ Exhibit during our Christmas Tours at Ruthven Park ! Tours run on-the-hour for approximately 45 minutes.

    Please register for tours at the Welcome Centre. Admission is a “give what you can” monetary donation per person in support of Ruthven Park.

  • 4th Annual Charity Event

    Fourth Annual Charity Drive; Meet Santa & Paw Patrol Characters! 

    Come out for the 4th Annual Charity Drive! Together, we can make a difference! 

    It's that time of year again! Please bring new, unwrapped toys to help bring joy to children this year! 

    This event has become a tradition of giving, and we can't wait to see the incredible impact we'll make together. Whether you have items to donate, spare change to contribute, or a few hours to volunteer, your support matters!

    This year they are adding local vendors! Please help support these small businesses by doing some of your Christmas shopping. We look forward to seeing all the goodies! 

    How can you help? Here are a few ways:

    1. **Donate Items**: Clean out your closets and donate gently used clothing, toys, and household items. Every little bit helps!

    2. **Give Financially**: Every dollar counts! Your generous donations will go directly towards supporting those in need.

    3. **Volunteer Your Time**: Join us on December 15, 12pm to 3pm to lend a hand. Your time is a priceless gift that can make a huge difference!

    Remember, even small contributions can lead to big impacts. Together, we can spread kindness and make a positive change in our community. Let's come together, spread love, and make this year's charity drive the best one yet! Share this post and spread the word. Let's make a difference! 

    Food good donations, monetary donations will be going to the local foodbank. Toy donations will be going to the Good shepherd and/or the Salvation army!

    Come out to St Paul's Chapel for their traditional Christmas Service on December 15 @ 2:00pm, the lovely little church in Middleport.  

    Fellowship & refreshments following service.
