The 1st Selkirk BPSA will hold a community Remembrance Day Service at the gates of the Selkirk Community Park. The ceremony will begin with a memorial march starting at the Selkirk Fire Hall, located at 38 Main Street West, at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Dunnville Remembrance Day Service
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 142 in Dunnville will host a Remembrance Day ceremony to honor and remember veterans. The event will begin with a memorial march departing from the Dunnville Legion at approximately 10:30 a.m., proceeding to Central Park (206 Cedar St) where the formal ceremony will take place.

Hagersville Remembrance Day Service
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 164 – Hagersville, will hold its annual Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph in Sgt. Andrew Harnett Park. The ceremony will begin with a memorial march starting at the Hagersville Legion, located at 5 Alma St. N, at approximately 10:30 a.m.

Caledonia Remembrance Day Service
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 154 in Caledonia will hold its annual Remembrance Day Service. The ceremony will take place at the Cenotaph on Caithness Street, with a memorial march starting from the Caledonia Legion at 29 Caithness Street East at approximately 10:45 a.m.

Ruthven Park: Remembrance Day- Monday, November 11, 2024
Join a special Remembrance Day exhibit on Monday, November 11th 2024. A beautiful poppy display will be set against the back drop of our historic Mansion where we pay tribute to those who served in the armed forces. The historic Coach House will feature exhibits highlighting the lives of the Thompson family in service, showcasing artifacts of their military connection. Admission to the exhibit is by a ‘give what you can’ donation.

Christmas Tour by Donation
Experience the traditions of Christmases past through the various generations of the Thompson family and our featured ‘Christmas During World War I’ Exhibit during our Christmas Tours at Ruthven Park ! Tours run for approximately 45 minutes and concludes in the Coach House for tea or hot chocolate and assorted sweets.
Admission requires a “give what you can” donation per person of non-perishable goods that will be donated to the Cayuga Foodbank.

Haldimand Museums Holiday Market
Haldimand Museums is hosting its second annual Holiday Market supporting local businesses, crafts people and community organizations.
This year, the market takes place in two locations on Thursday November 14 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm: the Haldimand County Administration Building Lobby at 53 Thorburn Street South, Cayuga and, across the parking lot, at the Cayuga Arena McSorley Family Hall. The event is free entry and family friendly.
Enjoy festive decorations, local handcrafted products and food perfect for holiday gifts. Featured products include custom drinkware, pebble art, buntings and dog bandanas, raw and roasted hazelnuts, knit and crocheted goods, 100% soy candles and handcrafted Canadian wood products.
Be sure to take your photo in front of the County Christmas tree, and stop by the Haldimand Museums table to learn about upcoming programs, workshops, and purchase historical holiday cards.
Parking is available in front of the Administration Building and next to the Cayuga Memorial Arena.

Crafts at the Klin - NIGHT MARKET
Burning Kiln Winery and Crafts at the Kiln are once again joining forces to bring you our 7th annual winter market!
The Burning Kiln canopy will once again be decorated for the holidays and filled with 25 handmade vendors. Admission is FREE but we will be accepting donations for a local charity (TBA).
On Friday night we will be hosting our NIGHT MARKET from 6-10pm. Shop and drink inside and catch up with friends outside at our bonfire while listening to only the best holiday tunes!
Saturday is our day market from 11am-5pm. Grab a beer or glass of wine and wander the vineyards at Burning Kiln Winery with your friends and family, a perfect opportunity to snap some winter pics! Hang out at our outdoor bonfire and then warm up inside the pavilion while doing your holiday shopping from our handmade vendors.
Inside the pavilion you will find: • Handmade vendors • Local beer and wine bars • Hot chocolate, tea and coffee • Holiday tunes
Outside you will find: • Cozy bonfires

Turkey Raffle Fundraiser
South Haldimand Fire Station 11 is having a turkey raffle! Come out for lots of prizes to win!
This is a 19+ event and admission is only $10, which includes a delicious dinner of beef on a bun!
The event is on November 15 from 7 PM to 1 AM at South Haldimand Fire Station 11, located at 283 Haldimand Rd. 50.
All proceeds go back into serving our community. Come on out for some fun with the community, and win some turkeys and ham!
