Sunday 15 September 2024
Preceding Day Sunday 15 September 2024 Following Day
  • Caledonia Terry Fox Run
The annual Terry Fox Run is back at the beautiful LaFortune Park on Hwy 54 in Caledonia! We hope for good weather to match the good vibes from our growing community.  Some of us are the faithful cheerleaders of Terry’s cause and others are new to the Canadian culture of Terry Fox and his drive to live in a world without cancer.

Park at the Lower La Fortune Park parking lot located directly at 2365 Haldimand County Hwy 54. This location will be where the registration will take place.

Registration will be open at 9 am and the walk/run event will start at 10 am. The route will be 1km and 5 km, with the option to do it again to make 10 km for those who wish to do so.

We are hopeful for good weather so everyone may enjoy their time at this “hidden treasure” in our own back yard of the county!

As always, there are happy, cheerful people to sign you up the day of the event as always if you choose to show up the day of the event and participate.  Sometimes, we have other commitments the day of the event and we can’t show up.  If you wish, you can still donate to the event itself or you may do the walk /run on your own time and in your own way.
  • Hamilton Children’s Museum Pop-Up in Dundurn’s Historic Kitchen Garden

Young ones are invited to drop in for free nature-based activities in Sophia’s Garden, a new child-focused interactive space located in Dundurn’s Historic Kitchen Garden featuring plants selected to inspire kids to touch, smell and interact with nature.

This program is weather dependent and will be cancelled if there is audible thunder, heavy rain, or if temperatures are above 40 degrees Celsius.

Free event hosted at the Dundurn National Historic Site.

    12:00pm - 04:00pm
