    Free holiday skating courtesy of the Port Dover Lions Club

    The Port Dover Lions are pleased to announce that the club is again sponsoring all Public and Parent and Tot skating sessions from December 23rd through January 7th 2024, at the Port Dover Arena.

    " This is our gift to the Port Dover community this holiday season, and the Lions hope everyone comes out and takes full advantage of the free skating sessions" said Alan Strang, Marketing and Communications Chair

  • Dig It! Archaeology 101 with the Hamilton Children’s Museum

    This winter break, the Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology is partnering with the Hamilton Children’s Museum to host a free drop-in activity centre all about archaeology! Archaeologists are a lot like detectives; they figure out how people lived in the past by looking at the objects they left behind. Visitors will assume the role of Archeologist using brushes to uncover artifacts and screens to sift found objects and interpret the items they have discovered.

    Dates:          January 2 - 7, 2024 (Closed Mondays)

    Time:            12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    Ages:            3 to 12 years (Adult supervision required)

    Cost:             FREE entry to the Activity Centre. Regular museum admission rates apply.

  • Family Fun at Fieldcote Museum

    Join us for some family-friendly fun over the winter break. Competitive spirit? We’ve got Winter Family Games including table-top board games and some outdoor Scavenger Hunt fun! Are you creative? We have that covered too. Crafts for all ages with a snowy winter theme! All this and a hot chocolate corner too! Please don’t forget to visit the Stories from the Edge exhibition on display until December 31.
