Re-Enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek
Witness the re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek June 6, 1813, a significant turning point in the War of 1812. Bring the whole family for period games, food, demonstrations, historical music and fireworks. Visit the merchants and military encampment and discover traditional pastimes. The event features Indigenous programming including a narrated ‘Great Peace Game’ of Haudenosaunee Lacrosse on the Battlefield prior to each Battle Re-enactment on Saturday, June 3. After the game, the young men will be joined by Haudenosaunee singers and dancers who will share Gada:tro (Standing Quiver Dance), and the Smoke Dance with audience participation.

Chorus Hamilton: Puccini's "Messa di Gloria"
Chorus Hamilton invites you to experience the timeless music of Giacomo Puccini with a performance of his early masterpiece, "Messa di Gloria," accompanied by a silent auction starting at 2:00 PM. Puccini, known for his opera compositions, showcases his versatility with "Messa di Gloria." The concert also features pianist Erika Reiman performing Franz Liszt's "Sonetto 104 del Petrarca," along with solos by baritone Michael Robert-Broder and tenor Marcel van Helden. Prior to the concert, there will be a silent auction offering various items. Proceeds from the auction will support Chorus Hamilton's artistic endeavors.

B.C.C.S. Cruisin’ Car Show
Come out to the B.C.C.S. Cruisin’ Car Show at the Burlington Centre in Burlington Ontario. Formally the Rebels classic car and hot rod clubs, Monday Night Car Show.
The new shows will start May, 13 and run every Monday, 5 pm to 8 pm except long weekends; till September,30, 2024. weather permitting.
We are running this show in support of Jump Start Canadian Tire. An organization dedicated to helping youth in team sports , to enrich the lives of kids through sport and physical activity with a vision of Canada being a place where all kids have a chance to fulfill their dreams. Giving kids the opportunity to access sport and play. This is essential for their growth and development. Our mission is to create a vibrant and engaging space where car enthusiasts can come together to showcase their passion for automobiles while making a positive impact on our community.

Townsend Amusements joins us on Thursday June 6th, featuring their Fantastic Midway, fun for all ages! They will be onsite towards the Dunnville Waterfront Park & Farmers Market from Thursday through Sunday.
Join us in Wingfield park for the TBD Doors open at 5pm - 10pm. Live music, featuring TBD Bring your lawnchairs and enjoy local vendors!
FRIDAY
We will be hosting a youth dance on the Friday evening at the Optimist Hall.
At Central Park, we will be hosting a Family Movie night. Bring your lawn chairs, featured film is TBD with a start of the night with Reading with Rainbow!
SATURDAY
Starting at 10:30am, the Dunnville Mudcat Festival parade will commence. This will take place from George Street to Broad, down Broad up Tamarack and then back towards the finish on Lock street. The Theme this year is TBD.
In Central Park, we will have our Children's entertainment zone. Filled up with Bouncy Castles and fun activities for all. Fun that the whole family will enjoy. Meet and Greets with the Characters after the show.
On Cedar Street, join us for the 3rd Annual Mark Haines Memorial Strongman/Strongwoman competition. See Truck Pulls, Dead Lifts, and Medley events....you will be amazed at the strength of the contestants!
Over at Lions Park, we will have our Annual Classic Car Show. First 100 registrants will receive a plaque, so make sure to come out and join us! Starts at 10am.
At Wingfield Park, we will then be hosting Live Music at our Bavarian Beer Tent. Featuring TBD
The BedRaces are back! Hosted by the Dunnville Mudcats, come and watch starting at 12:30 in front of Wingfield Park, where 5 people will push their Team Bed to the finish line down Main W.
NEW for 2024 - The Duck Races are back, hosted by the Dunnville Rotary Club.
Stick around because at Dusk, we will have our Amazing Fireworks Extravaganza.

CALEDONIA & DISTRICT PIPES & DRUMS
Are YOU interested in helping to rebuild your local community pipe band?
If so, we will be holding an open meeting on Thursday, 6th June, 2024 at 7 pm at the Train Station, Trunk Road, Caledonia (opposite Tim Hortons and next to Food Basics).
We need experienced pipers and drummers, plus anyone who is interested in learning to play an instrument. If you don’t feel able to play in the band, but you are interested in helping out in other ways, then please come and let us know your area of interest or expertise. There are many different ways of helping out, for instance, tutoring students if you are no longer able to march with the band; or looking after and issuing uniforms; making sure that all the equipment is in working order; advertising; fundraising; secretarial and organizational services.

Service Canada Overview of Programs and Benefits for Families
The Government of Canada offers a number of programs and benefits to help families with the cost of raising children.
Join a representative from Service Canada and the Canada Revenue agency at the Dunnville Branch of the Haldimand County Public Library on Friday June 7th at 11:00 am to learn about Maternity and Parental Leave, Family Caregiving Benefits and Leave, Dental Coverage, Education Savings programs, and Canada Pension Plan Survivor and Children’s benefits. You will also learn about CRA’s tax benefits and credits, such as the Canada Child Benefit, the GST/HST Credit, and the Canada Workers Benefit.
**Special Note: This Service Canada presentation will run at the same time as a Dunnville Branch Children’s Storytime session. Parents interested in attending the free Service Canada information event are encouraged to register their children (ages 3 and up) in the Storytime session for $1 per child. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please register your child(ren) for Storytime in advance. **

Waterdown Farmers Market
The Waterdown Farmers’ Market takes root in the parking lot of the Royal Canadian Legion every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from 8 AM to 1 PM from the end of May until mid-October. 2024 marks the 11th season of the current iteration of the community Market, continuing a decades old tradition of showcasing our community’s agricultural roots.
Vendor offerings include local produce, meats and eggs direct from the farm, plus baked goods, preserves, VQA Ontario wines and more. We’re excited to welcome 6 new growers and half a dozen new food makers, expanding offerings to now include mushrooms, dairy products, vegan treats and more diverse ethnic flavours.

TRAIN DAYS WITH THE GOLDEN HORSESHOE LIVE STEAMERS
Catch a ride on a miniature train, operated by the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers! Various model engines will be running on the miniature railroad track at the museum.
