  • 48th DUNNVILLE MUDCAT FESTIVAL

    Featuring Live Music, Car Show, Fishing Derby, Strongman Competition, Townsend Amusements Midway, Children's Entertainment Zone, Parades and more!

    OFFICIAL EVENT DETAILS:

    DATE: Thursday June 6th - June 9th

    SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

    THURSDAY

    • Townsend Amusements joins us on Thursday June 6th, featuring their Fantastic Midway, fun for all ages! They will be onsite towards the Dunnville Waterfront Park & Farmers Market from Thursday through Sunday. 

    • Join us in Wingfield park for the TBD Doors open at 5pm - 10pm. Live music, featuring TBD  Bring your lawnchairs and enjoy local vendors! 

    FRIDAY 

    • We will be hosting a youth dance on the Friday evening at the Optimist Hall. 

    • At Central Park, we will be hosting a Family Movie night. Bring your lawn chairs, featured film is TBD with a start of the night with Reading with Rainbow!

    SATURDAY

    • Starting at 10:30am, the Dunnville Mudcat Festival parade will commence. This will take place from George Street to Broad, down Broad up Tamarack and then back towards the finish on Lock street. The Theme this year is TBD. 

    • In Central Park, we will have our Children's entertainment zone. Filled up with Bouncy Castles and fun activities for all. Fun that the whole family will enjoy. Meet and Greets with the Characters after the show. 

    • On Cedar Street, join us for the 3rd Annual Mark Haines Memorial Strongman/Strongwoman competition. See Truck Pulls, Dead Lifts, and Medley events....you will be amazed at the strength of the contestants!  

    • Over at Lions Park, we will have our Annual Classic Car Show. First 100 registrants will receive a plaque, so make sure to come out and join us! Starts at 10am. 

    • At Wingfield Park, we will then be hosting Live Music at our Bavarian Beer Tent. Featuring TBD

    • The BedRaces are back! Hosted by the Dunnville Mudcats, come and watch starting at 12:30 in front of Wingfield Park, where 5 people will push their Team Bed to the finish line down Main W.

    • NEW for 2024 - The Duck Races are back, hosted by the Dunnville Rotary Club. 

    • Stick around because at Dusk, we will have our Amazing Fireworks Extravaganza. 

    SUNDAY

    • Townsend Amusements will have the Midway in Operation. Last day to check it out!! 

    • Fishing Derby for Kids - Registration Begins at 11am at Wingfield Park. Bring your fish to measure by 2pm. 

    • New for 2024 - Petting Farm & RC Cars will join us over at Wingfield Park next to the Fishing Derby. Fun for Everyone! 


  • Waterdown Farmers Market

    The Waterdown Farmers’ Market takes root in the parking lot of the Royal Canadian Legion every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from 8 AM to 1 PM from the end of May until mid-October. 2024 marks the 11th season of the current iteration of the community Market, continuing a decades old tradition of showcasing our community’s agricultural roots. 

    Vendor offerings include local produce, meats and eggs direct from the farm, plus baked goods, preserves, VQA Ontario wines and more. We’re excited to welcome 6 new growers and half a dozen new food makers, expanding offerings to now include mushrooms, dairy products, vegan treats and more diverse ethnic flavours.

  • Market in the Brook

    Join us at the BAS Fairgrounds for Market in the Brook, local artisans, baked goods and a few vendors with fresh farm produce and plants. Live local music to enjoy the time there.

  • Concession Streetfest
    The annual Concession Streetfest has been running since 1988 and is brought to you by the businesses of Concession Street via the Concession Street BIA.
    Musicians, dancers, DJ, kids' entertainment and much much more!! Enjoy the shopping, food trucks and food provided by the amazing businesses on Concession Street - with entertainment stationed at different locations all along Concession Street between Upper Wentworth and E25th. Streetfest staples like the Car Show at Mountain Tire will be there too.

  • Walk and Roll for Muscular Dystrophy

    Participate in the 2024 Walk & Roll for MDC to help break down barriers for the neuromuscular community. By sponsoring, you are supporting MDC's full spectrum of programs, services, and supports for the thousands of Canadians of all ages living with a neuromuscular disorder. Together, with your support help fund cutting-edge research, provide funding for life-changing equipment, engage through community, education and advocacy, and lead policy, to enhance the lives of the neuromuscular community.

  • TRAIN DAYS WITH THE GOLDEN HORSESHOE LIVE STEAMERS

    Catch a ride on a miniature train, operated by the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers! Various model engines will be running on the miniature railroad track at the museum. Make sure to head to the Pumphouse to learn about Hamilton’s first Waterworks, built in 1859. Light refreshments will be sold at the “Keefer Café” in the museum gift shop.

  • Hagersville Hawks 29th Annual Fish Fry

    Come out to the hagersville legion and enjoy a delicious fish fry hosted by the Hagersville Hawks! Eat in only, food served from 4 to 7pm. 

    50/50 draw and door prizes as well. $25 per ticket - grab your ticket from a member of the Hawks.

    WING DING Barbeque returns to St. John the Divine, 37 Ottawa St. N., Cayuga. Saturday, June 8.
