"Stayin' Alive" was released in 1977 as the second single from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and quickly became a true Disco classic. In 2004, it ranked No. 9 on The American Film Institute's ‘100 Years...100 Songs’ survey of top tunes in American cinema.

"Stayin' Alive"  hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of 4 February 1978, remaining there for four consecutive weeks. In the United States, it would become the second of six consecutive number-one singles for The Bee Gees, tying the record with the Beatles for most consecutive number ones in the United States at the time.

Sting has compiled an array of collaborations from over the years into a new album, Duets, out March 19th, 2021.  We are giving it away this Freebie Friday.  The 17-song set features previously released tunes like “It’s Probably Me” with Eric Clapton.  Here's the video for it when it was originally released in 1993.

Check out the video for ‘You Saw Me Comin'’, a previously unreleased song from Tom Petty's ‘Wildflower’ sessions.

The track is a new addition to ‘Finding Wildflowers (Alternate Versions’) to be released on April 16th.

….A classic from Elton John and Kiki Dee ! The “Don't Go Breaking My Heart” video was shot all in one take with a three-camera setup.

During the instrumental section, Elton attempts to teach Kiki a version of the “hand jive”, a 1950s dance that would resurge in popularity with the release of the film Grease…

Watch Peter Frampton cover Roxy Music's 'Avalon'.  It's part of a 10 track all-instrumental album called 'Frampton Forgets The Words'.  The record is a collection of the iconic guitarist's 10 favourite pieces of music including covers of David Bowie, Sly And The Family Stone, George Harrison and more. The record is due out April 23.

Peter Gabriel has re-recorded his 1980 protest classic “Biko” with help from 25 musicians from around the globe, including Beninese vocalist and activist Angélique Kidjo, Yo-Yo Ma, the Cape Town Ensemble, Sebastian Robertson, and bassist Meshell Ndegeocello.

The original song was written as a tribute to South African anti-apartheid activist Steve Biko, who was murdered in police custody in 1977.

Paul Stanley's Soul Station have released a cover of the 1970 The Five Stairsteps' hit "O-o-h Child”.

The song comes from the band's upcoming debut album, Now and Then, which will now come out on March 19.

Paul McCartney has released a music video for "Find My Way," the first single from his new McCartney III album.

McCartney III is the rocker's third true solo album, following 1970's McCartney and 1980's McCartney II, on which he handled all the singing and instrumental parts himself.

Joe Elliott has released a new song inspired by David Bowie - "Goodnight Mr. Jones."

“I’ve been a fan ever since I saw Bowie perform ‘Starman’ on Top of the Pops in 1972 and was devastated when he passed away five years ago,” Elliott tells us. “‘Goodnight Mr. Jones’ was written as my sendoff / thank you song to a hugely influential artist. I wanted to mark the fifth anniversary of his passing with something that would celebrate the artistry of someone who remains a huge part of my life.”

“Goodnight Mr. Jones" sees the Def Leppard frontman paying tribute to his idol in sprawling, anthemic fashion, accompanied by his side project, Down 'n' Outz.
