The Holidays are fast approaching and craft shows are in full swing!
On Saturday I’ll be heading to Dunnville for the 5th Annual Christmas on Alder. It starts at 10 in the morning and runs until 2 o’clock at 121 Alder Street, West. Haldimand Pregnancy Care & Family Centre hosts this craft show every year and they hold over 35 vendors who all sell a variety of seasonal items! Admission is free, parking is free and…pictures with Santa are free!
My second stop for Saturday will be at 204 Alder Street West in Dunnville for a charitable event hosted by “With Love Cheesecake” in support of Julia’s Old Fashioned Christmas. Julia gathers winter clothing and non-perishable food items to be donated to those in need over the Holiday season. With Love Cheesecake will be donating proceeds from the event to Julia’s fundraising efforts! Check out the vendors to get your Christmas shopping finished early, get in on the 50/50 draws, raffles, penny table and enjoy a hot lunch of soup and chili!
I’ll be taking a drive out to Cayuga for the afternoon to check out the “All About The Kids” Market at the Cayuga Legion. From 10:30 in the morning until 4 at 11 Talbot Street, shop the vendors to get a head start on your Christmas shopping, enjoy live musical entertainment, get your picture taken with Santa and enjoy a hot lunch of Roast beef, fries and gravy! Hourly door prizes will also be awarded throughout the day! Be sure to get a hand in at the Cayuga Legion’s fundraising table to help support Branch 159. I’ll be finishing off the day a few doors down from the Legion at the Cayuga Library and Heritage Centre. They are open until 5pm and their new exhibit WWII: A Defining Moment is open! Donations to the Heritage Centre are always accepted!
Sunday will begin in Hagersville at 62 Main Street South with Country Paws. From 10 in the morning until 3, bring your furry friend out for pet pictures with Santa, a bake sale, door prizes, penny raffle and more fun for the whole family! All proceeds will benefit Hobbitsee Animal Rescue and ARF Rescue!
Six Nations Bingo Hall will be my second stop of the day. They’re located at 2585 Chiefswood Road in Ohsweken and they have bingo games all day long. My favorite part about Six Nations Bingo Hall is that they donate 40% of all their proceeds to Non-profit and educational organizations in the community! Meet me over at Kinsmen Park in Caledonia for the remainder of the afternoon! Grab a hot chocolate and take a stroll along The Grand River while taking in the beauty of Haldimand County! Get outdoors while the nice weather lasts! You can meet up with me at any of these events to grab a 92.9 The Grand Bumper sticker and to say hi at the Cruiser! You can also drop off any new unwrapped gifts to donate to our Gift of Christmas fundraiser this Holiday season! Learn more about 92.9 The Grand’s Gift of Christmas here!
If you’d like to invite the 92.9 The Grand Events Cruiser to your non-profit or charitable event, send me the details! All you have to do is email firstname.lastname@example.org
See ya out there!
