Little Ray's Annual Christmas Fundraiser
Come celebrate the holidays with Little Ray's! We welcome you to take the opportunity to give back to our community by joining us for our annual holiday food drive and silent auction!
On December 8th, 2024 admission to the zoo will be $5+tax per person with each food donation. All food donation will be going to Neighbour To Neighbour.
We will also be hosting a Silent Auction from 11am-2pm. Winners will be contacted within 30minutes of the Auction being closed. All proceeds will be going directly to the care and welfare of Little Ray's Nature Centre animals.
DATE: December 8th, 2024 from 11am- 4pm (Silent Auction only until 2pm)
COST: $5+tax per person with a food donation (1 item per person)
WHERE: 869 Barton Street East, Hamilton ON L8L3B4 (entrance is along the right side of the building - facing Gage Ave)
Activities:
1. INTERACTIVE SHOWS Come face to face with WILD animals! From snakes to lizards to armadillos and ferrets. Get an experience you will never forget! Shows start at 11:30am and the last show is at 3:15pm. There will be a 15 minute break in between shows.
2. SILENT AUCTION This is a great chance to get some amazing experiences and items from local businesses! All proceeds will be going to Little Ray's Nature Centre to help continue care for our animals and continue to take in unwanted/ illegal animals. We will be accepting Cash, Debit or Credit. --> From 11am-2pm -->Winners will be contacted within 30minutes of the auction being closed -->Winners will have 24 hours to arrange payment and pickup, otherwise we will go to the runner up.
We are looking for more items for the Silent Auction. All businesses that donate, will be advertised on all our social media and on the day of the event. To donate, please call 905-549-6868 or email hamilton@littlerays.org.

Ancaster Optimist Club Catch the Ace!
The Ancaster Optimist Club supports children and youth in Ancaster and surrounding communities by funding learning opportunities, sports, charitable donations and a host of other initiatives. The club is operating a Catch the Ace progressive raffle as its newest fundraising project. The progressive jackpot continues to grow! The club needs your support! Adult Shinny Caledonia
This is a drop in program, there is no registration.
Shinny is an opportunity to participate in self-organized, non-contact hockey. Wearing a CSA-approved helmet is mandatory and facemasks are mandatory for anyone under 18 years of age.
- Youth Shinny is open to participants in Grades 4-8
- Teen Shinny is open to participants in Grade 9 to 17 years of age
- Adult / Women's Shinny is open to those 18 and older

Breakfast with Santa!
Join us on Saturday, December 14, 2024 between 9am-12pm for a delicious eat-in breakfast in support of Senior Support Services and the Caledonia Agricultural Society, featuring the Jolly Man Himself: Santa Claus!
There will be two seatings: 9:00am-10:30am, and 10:30am-12:00pm. Your delicious breakfast will be cooked fresh to order when you arrive. Enjoy a special visit & photo-op with Santa Claus!
Park at the Fairgrounds and come inside the Riverside Exhibition Centre. Breakfast will be served in the Grand Hall.
Each $16 adult order includes 2 pancakes, 2 sausages, 2 strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, and breakfast potatoes, coffee, tea, or juice.
Each $8 children's order includes 1 pancake, 1 sausage, 1 strip of bacon, scrambled eggs, and breakfast potatoes, with juice.
