Join us for a powerful evening of music, memory, and meaning as two of Hamilton’s finest musical ensembles unite for PEACE, a concert centered on Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem (Grant Us Peace). This large-scale choral work, composed in 1936 between the world wars, serves as a haunting reminder of the cost of conflict — and the universal plea for peace.
Set inside the historic Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, guests will be surrounded by restored aircraft and living history while immersed in the music of Vaughan Williams, who himself served in WWI and channeled its horror and hope into this unforgettable piece.
