Naval Tour
What mysteries lie at the bottom of the sea and how do they connect to Hamilton? The Hamilton Cemetery is full of many untold stories including those of people who were casualties in naval disasters such as the sinking of the Titanic and Lusitania.
Join The Hamilton Military Museum and Cemetery Chronicles Tours to discover how the fascinating history and tragedy of those lost at sea connect to Hamiltonians.
Participants are asked to meet their tour guide at The Hamilton Cemetery Gatehouse.

Family BBQ hosted by Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 36 - Dundas, 280 King Street West, Dundas - Sunday, June 16, 2024. Open 2:00pm for refreshments. BBQ 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Menu consists of Steak Dinner, Chicken Dinner, Hamburger. While at the BBQ why not play horseshoes in our horseshoe pits - just ask the bartender for the shoes. Everyone is welcome.

B.C.C.S. Cruisin’ Car Show
Come out to the B.C.C.S. Cruisin’ Car Show at the Burlington Centre in Burlington Ontario. Formally the Rebels classic car and hot rod clubs, Monday Night Car Show.
The new shows will start May, 13 and run every Monday, 5 pm to 8 pm except long weekends; till September,30, 2024. weather permitting.
We are running this show in support of Jump Start Canadian Tire. An organization dedicated to helping youth in team sports , to enrich the lives of kids through sport and physical activity with a vision of Canada being a place where all kids have a chance to fulfill their dreams. Giving kids the opportunity to access sport and play. This is essential for their growth and development. Our mission is to create a vibrant and engaging space where car enthusiasts can come together to showcase their passion for automobiles while making a positive impact on our community.

Join a representative from R.E.A.C.H. at the Jarvis Library Branch on Thursday June 20th at 6:30pm for an information session covering strategies, prompts and tips to help communicate with your teen. Learn methods to initiate important conversations and improve communication. Discover causes of teen behaviours that may not make sense to you and find out ways you can help teens establish positive routines which promote positive mental health, making adolescence easier on them and your family.

Waterdown Farmers Market
The Waterdown Farmers’ Market takes root in the parking lot of the Royal Canadian Legion every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from 8 AM to 1 PM from the end of May until mid-October. 2024 marks the 11th season of the current iteration of the community Market, continuing a decades old tradition of showcasing our community’s agricultural roots.
Vendor offerings include local produce, meats and eggs direct from the farm, plus baked goods, preserves, VQA Ontario wines and more. We’re excited to welcome 6 new growers and half a dozen new food makers, expanding offerings to now include mushrooms, dairy products, vegan treats and more diverse ethnic flavours.

Household Hazardous Waste Event - McKinnon Park Secondary School
Are you wondering where to get rid of hazardous waste because it isn’t accepted in the garbage collection program? Do you have end-of-life electronics kicking around that you need to get rid of? Well you’re in luck! Haldimand County hosts four household hazardous waste and waste electronic events each year in four different areas throughout the County. See below for event details!
Please note that this program is for residents only.
Visit the Recycle My Electronics website for a list of acceptable electronic waste.
Use the “What Goes Where” search tool to determine if an item is considered hazardous waste and is accepted at our events.

Paws for the Cause is an annual event in support of Pantry Four Paws!
