H.A.C BBQ with Cameron Caton as Elvis
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at the H.A.C. Open House, featuring the return of the one and only Cameron Caton as Elvis—back by popular demand! Enjoy a free BBQ lunch, live entertainment, and a great community atmosphere. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted to support the H.A.C.
Weather permitting we will be outside so please dress accordingly and bring sun protection, and a lawn chair to sit in.
We will have some great door prizes to win including tickets to Ripley’s Aquarium.

#ElderWisdom Elmira Green Bench Hometown Tour
We're heading to Elmira to celebrate a hometown stories worth sharing with resident KW local resident Tom Farr! As part of the #ElderWisdom 10th Anniversary we invite you to Gore Park in Elmira on Thursday, August 14th from 2:30 to 4:30 PM.
The Green Bench program is designed to create a safe and welcoming space for seniors to share their stories, perspectives, and life experiences, reminding us all of the incredible resource their wisdom represents. The bench has already visited many Ontario communities throughout June commemorating Seniors Month, and we are excited about future travel programs to new places including St. Johns Newfoundland, Ottawa, Brighton and London UK and with you in Elmira!
All are welcome to attend, no fee or admission.
Join us on the Green Bench for conversation, intergenerational exchanges and your favourite advice with a senior.
